| After returning from a memorable day, the marina life awaits you. There are many marinas in Poole harbour which offer private shower and WC cubicles to a very high standard, and there are nearby bars and restaurants, and pubs and clubs. The boat can be placed at Poole Yacht Haven right in the centre of the town, or Cobbs Quay which is the home to 1000 boats ! A different experience would be to finish your day by transiting the rivers at the head of the harbour and moor at Wraeham Quay. this 16th century town is saxon by origin and is walled. It is a charming English town and offers many older pubs and a highly recommended italian restaurant. The Town has the Priory Hotel which is of exceptional standard. |
| The Bailey Cheiftain 4 Berth Luxury Touring Caravan is located permanently at Corfe Castle in the heart of the Purbeck Hills. An arrows distance from the foot of some of the most spectacular Castle ruins in Britain where much history from the Oliver Cromwell era is offered. There is the steam train which takes passengers from Corfe down 5 miles to the Seaside town of Swanage, and there are many quaint tea shops, museums, sweet shops and pubs in the village. The Bailey is a well proven versatile caravan with 4 berth accommodation in a large converted forward berth, and two rear bunks. There is a kitchenette with a gas hob and grill, 240v hook-up, ensuite shower and chemical toilet with a hot and cold running water basin. It is a working farm site where farm animals are available to be touched, and there is a child play area.

| Poole Harbour offers 100 miles of coast line within its area. Within the Harbour lies many islands which can be landed upon and adventures made. There are many sheltered areas for safe anchorage where the fantastic, numerous amounts of wild life can be viewed in number. Deer can be seen drinking from the waters edge, and seals do frequent the harbour. There is good fishing in the harbour where Sea Bass, Rass and mullet are plentiful. Out of the Harbout entrance offers the fabulous World Heritage areas of The Purbeck coast where the Chalk sea stacks of Old Harry, Lulworth cove, and golden beaches of Bournemouth and Studland await you. |
